J. T. Krul has posted to his twitter a teaser about Issue #2 of Green Arrow and who Ollie’s “Merry men” will be - Well, at least one of them.
He strongly hints that the woman he saves in the first issue will become the new Speedy. Where this leaves Mia is unknown, but the decision to add a brand new teacher-student dynamic is bound to leave some fans upset.

Green Arrow #1 was by far the best, amirite?! I thought Krul was going to disappoint, but that’s was pretty darn good! Not sure how any of you enjoyed it, but this is definitely one of my favorite comics. (Ok, I just started collecting in March, but still!)

The last few years have not been great for Green Arrow. The GA/BC wedding and consequential book seemed like a great idea but quickly stagnated into infighting, obscurity and WTFness. Even though we were all glad to see the Arrows get a role in Blackest Night and its aftermath nobody was glad to see them be dismantled and abused the way they were. Especially Roy, When the fuck are you gonna stop fucking with Roy DC? but I digress.
